Dari Pogach is an experienced attorney currently accepting legal and non-legal contract and consulting assignments. Prior to working as an independent contractor, she was a Staff Attorney at University Legal Services and provided direct legal services in Washington, D.C. and New York City.
Dari is a part-time staff attorney at Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities, providing legal services to low-income D.C. residents with disabilities. Her practice includes matters pertaining to family, special education, mental health, and probate law, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Social Security benefits. She has represented clients in trials and fact finding proceedings, administrative hearings, and settlement agreements.
Additionally, Dari has substantive experience in policy and legislative advocacy. She has testified at numerous legislative hearings, provided comments to proposed regulations, and written public reports with recommendations for improving local laws and practices.
