Marco A. Palmieri
Marco A. Palmieri is a Senior Assistant United States Attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. He currently works in the Appellate Division where he handles criminal appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Mr. Palmieri has served as an AUSA for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia since 2012, where he previously served as a trial lawyer and prosecuted both white collar and violent crime in the Office’s Domestic Violence and Felony Major Crimes units in the Superior Court Division.
From 2007-2012, Mr. Palmieri was an associate with the Washington, D.C. office of Arnold & Porter LLP, where he represented clients in complex litigation; copyright royalty proceedings; anti-trust matters; and SEC, DOJ and Congressional fraud and anti-corruption investigations. Mr. Palmieri is also an adjunct associate professor at the American University's Washington College of Law.
Mr. Palmieri received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Rhetoric from the University of California at Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law in 2007.
