Kathryn McDonnell

Ms. McDonnell teaches legal research and writing to international LLM students at WCL and, since 2007, has been teaching legal English in WCL’s intensive Summer Legal English Institute program for incoming LLM students and foreign practitioners. Ms. McDonnell also teaches a variety of English as a Second Language courses at Montgomery College. She has taught legal English courses in Bogotá, Colombia and ESL courses in Xuzhou, China and Canterbury, England. In addition, she currently serves as an arbitrator for international commercial disputes, on the panel of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, as well as for disputes in the financial industry, as a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory (FINRA) Dispute Resolution Panel. She practiced international commercial law as in-house counsel in the telecommunications industry for more than 20 years.
