Adjunct Professor of Law
Beginning in 2000, Adjunct Instructor Kristin McGovern practiced as a litigation associate at the international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. As a litigation associate, Ms. McGovern handled government investigations, civil litigation, and antitrust matters. During her tenure at Fulbright, Ms. McGovern was detailed to the Office of Attorney General for the District of Columbia where she successfully litigated various civil matters on behalf of the District of Columbia. Ms. McGovern received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with High Honors, from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine in 1993. In 2000, she received her Juris Doctor degree, with Honors, from The George Washington University Law School. While in law school, Ms. McGovern served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Ricardo Urbina on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
