Brad Haywood is currently serving as a Senior Assistant Public Defender in Alexandria, Virginia where he has represented indigent defendants in thousands of criminal cases. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Michigan, and a J.D. at Columbia University Law School where he was the Managing Editor of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review. In addition to his legal work, he is extensively involved in volunteer and community service projects.
