Richard Furcolo

Administrative Judge Furcolo has been adjudicating employment discrimination complaints arising in the Federal sector in the Commission’s Washington, D.C. Field Office for many years. A trial attorney by training, Administrative Judge Furcolo began his legal career as a Prosecutor and thereafter practiced as a Litigation Associate in an international, a/v rated law firm. In the 1990s, Administrative Judge Furcolo moved to Washington, D.C. and served as a Trial Attorney in an executive agency of the Federal government, representing the agency in a variety of actions nationwide. Administrative Judge Furcolo is also credentialed as a Mediator, serves as a Court-appointed Facilitator in Maryland, and is listed as an Employment Arbitrator for the American Bar Association.
