Dr. Elisabetta Cervone is Consultant at the World Bank, Finance & Private Sector. In Spring 2012 she is an Adjunct Professor at Washington College of Law, where she teaches European Union law. Prior to her appointment, she was a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of International Economic Law, Georgetown University Law School and held a Visiting position at Harvard Law School. She taught in LUISS Guido Carli University and University of Rome III (Italy). She has published extensively and presented at international conferences on European Union banking and financial markets law, European Union foreign policy and on the effects of European Union law on global governance.
Dr Cervone holds a PhD and a Master in Law & Economics from University of Siena (Italy). She received her law degree and a Master in Financial Markets Regulation in the European Union from the University of Rome, La Sapienza.
