Bibi Berry is a Shareholder at Paley Rothman, where she devotes the majority of her legal practice to Family Law and Litigation. Over her extensive legal career, she has had hundreds of cases across the state of Maryland and in the District of Columbia. Bibi prides herself on her ability to function as an aggressive and diligent advocate, and her ability to persuade, both in the courtroom and across a settlement table. Most importantly, she is attentive to the individual needs of each and every client.
Bibi has had numerous appointments and honors that reflect her reputation in, and dedication to, the legal community, including her gubernatorial appointment to the Montgomery County Judicial Nominating Committee, her appointment by the Chief Judge of the Maryland Court of Appeals to the Character Committee for the 7th Appellate Judicial Circuit, her selection by the President of the Montgomery County Bar Association as a member of the Judicial Selections Committee, her selection to sit on the Maryland State Bar Association’s Family and Juvenile Law Section Counsel, and her election by her peers to the Executive Committee (Secretary) of the Bar Association of Montgomery County. Bibi has also received numerous “top attorney” recognitions, including being named to Maryland and Washington D.C.’s “Super Lawyers” lists in Super Lawyers Magazine, and an Honorable Mention in Bethesda Magazine’s “Top Divorce Lawyers” segment.
Bibi’s commitment to excellence in the legal community is not limited to her own practice and that of her firm. She is dedicated to the improvement of the bar as a whole, as evidenced by her many hours of mentorship with less experienced attorneys and active community service, including her participation as faculty in legal education programs.
In her spare time, Bibi enjoys golf (both watching and playing), travelling, reading, creative writing and spending quality time with friends and family. ?
