Peter Asaad

Adjunct Professor of Law

Professor Peter F. Asaad is the managing member of Immigration Solutions Group, PLLC, a Washington D.C. law firm that specializes in providing legal representation exclusively in the field of immigration and nationality law. Mr. Asaad primarily handles business immigration matters on behalf of U.S. companies and multinational corporations. Mr. Asaad graduated cum laude from American University, Washington College of Law where he served as student attorney in the International Human Rights Law Clinic and in the Michael Tigar Impact Litigation Team. Upon graduation, Mr. Asaad served as Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Leonard Braman at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Subsequently, Mr. Asaad served as Lead Immigration Counsel for WJLA ABC News Legal Resource Center. Currently, Mr. Asaad serves as the Chair of the Immigration & Human Rights Committee of the District of Columbia Bar and as a chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association to help provide continuing legal education to immigration lawyers. Mr. Asaad further serves as Chairman of the National Council for Innovation and as the Senior Immigration Policy Advisor to Global Science Partnerships for the 21st Century (GSP21), a U.S. Department of State endorsed non-profit organization founded by the former Science and Technology Advisor to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell. Mr. Asaad has been a guest speaker on behalf of Washington Post Radio, the District of Columbia Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, as well as for other institutional bodies and news media groups. Mr. Asaad has been awarded a national Peer Review Rating by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell based upon extensive confidential peer review from members of the Bar. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
