WCL alumni, Alejandra Goyenechea of Defenders of Wildlife and Amy Karpel of the US Trade Representative's office participate in a panel discussion with fellow alumni, Gustavo Alanís, moderating. The panelists discussed various issues related to trade and the environment from both an NGO (Alejandra Goyenechea) and government (Amy Karpel) perspective.
A welcome reception was held at the OAS Main Building in Washington, DC and featured welcome remarks from OAS Assistant Secretary General Albert Ramdin.
During the seminar the participants had the chance to visit the Domino Sugar Factory in Baltimore, MD to learn about how their work relates to both international trade and the environment.

Trade Simulation Exercise
During the final day of the seminar, students participated in a Trade Simulation Exercise in which they represented various negotiation participants. Below are photos of students engaged in differing rounds of negotiation.
