Moot Court Competitions

The Environmental Law Program works with the Environmental Law Society to develop and send teams to the Pace National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition and the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition. PICEL faculty and staff help coach the teams, which are drawn from the Environmental Law Society. Below are pictures of the teams at their competitons.

2011-2012 Academic Year

Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition

Larissa Liebmann ('13), Ashley Gardana ('12), and Norah Patrick ('12) represented WCL at the Pacific Regional of the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition, which took place at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in February 2012.

 

 

 

 

 

Pace National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition

Professor Amanda Leiter coached the WCL team of Josh Fieldstone ('13), Jacqui Shelton ('13), and Chelsea Tu ('13) at the Twenty-Fourth Annual National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition held at Pace Law School in February 2012.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2010-2011 Academic Year

Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition

Laura Drummond ('11), Pablo Forray ('11), and Mina Trudeau ('12) competed in the International Finals of the Stetson International Moot Court Competition, which took place at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in March 2011. The WCL team competed against teams from around the world during the International Finals.
