Steve Wolfson leads the China Environmental Law Initiative at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of General Counsel, working to help China's Environment Ministry strengthen Chinese environmental law and institutions. Steve has trained Chinese officials on using ADR techniques for Environmental Conflict Resolution and has developed a website on Chinese Environmental Law. Additionally, Steve has represented the U.S. at environmental treaty negotiations and at WTO litigation. He has also trained environmental lawyers in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Steve is a graduate of UCLA School of Law, a member of the IUCN Commission on Environmental Law, and Vice-Chair for the Programs of the International Environmental Law Committee in the ABA Section on Environment, Energy, and Resources. Steve has taught International Environmental Law as an adjunct professor at Howard University Law School.
