The Modern American is published three times per year (Fall, Spring, and Summer Symposium issues by volume). We are currently accepting submissions for our Spring 2017 issue.
Our guidelines are the following: please submit a cover letter, resume/CV, and article via e-mail to thewclmodernamerican@gmail.com or via ExpressO; submissions must be a Word document that is no longer than 40 pages in length with 1" margins; single-spaced and non-justified paragraph formatting; and Garamond, 12-point font. TMA uses endnotes in A Uniform System of Citation (19th Ed.) ("The Bluebook") and literary style of The Chicago Manual of Style. The Senior Managing Editor will provide a decision regarding your submission within three weeks. Please contact The Modern American with any questions regarding the eligibility of your article.
