Law Students for Government and Public Affairs

We were founded with the goal of connecting law students and recent graduates with government relations and public affairs firms in the D.C. area. We believe that this is a valuable opportunity for law students to learn about the government relations industry, particularly how it functions as a platform to advocate and ultimately impact the causes they are most passionate about.

Participation in our organization and its AUWCL events is open to all members of the AU community, regardless of background. Our events, programs, and activities are inclusive and do not restrict participation based on personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
