Equal Justice Foundation

Established at American University Washington College of Law (AUWCL) in 1989, the Equal Justice Foundation (EJF) is a student-run organization that raises money to provide summer funding for AUWCL law students who have secured unpaid summer positions with public interest and public service organizations. EJF funding enables our students to gain valuable experience that will prepare them for practice, while providing critical legal services to underrepresented, marginalized, and vulnerable members of our community.

EJF seeks donations in the form of goods, services, and monetary contributions. Please show your support for public interest work by donating an item or service to our annual Public Interest Charity Auction, or by funding all, or a portion of, a $5,000 student stipend. One hundred percent of your donation goes directly to the students,
