Results from the 2023 Capitol City Challenge
The Stephen S. Weinstein Advocacy Program and the AUWCL Mock Trial Honor Society hosted the Fifteenth Annual Capitol City Challenge Mock Trial Competition on February 23-26, 2023. Stetson University College of Law defeated Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in the final round.
The competitors were evaluated and critiqued by experienced federal and state prosecutors, public defenders, and private practice attorneys over the course of three preliminary rounds. The top eight ranking teams then advanced the quarterfinal round where experienced practitioners continued to evaluate their performance.
