11th Annual National Law Students Workers' Rights Conference
The Peggy Browning Fund is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate and inspire the next generation of advocates for workplace justice. Through fellowships, workers’ rights conferences, networking and other programs, the Fund provides unique opportunities for law students to work for economic and social justice.
The Peggy Browning Fund hosts the 11th Annual National Law Students Workers’ Rights Conference on October 16 and 17, 2009 in Silver Spring, MD. The conference has two goals: 1) to create greater understanding of, appreciation for, and interest in the issues facing American workers, and 2) to provide law students with opportunities for networking with fellow law students, top labor lawyers, professors, nonprofit practitioners and government officials.
If you are interested in attending the conference, please contact Christina Jackson, Assistant Director, Public Interest Specialist in the Office of Career and Professional Development. Ms. Jackson will provide additional information about registration.
