Mr. Brusca is a 1981 graduate of the Washington College of Law.
He is a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. His practice at their Washington, DC branch focuses on complex civil litigation, including securities fraud, RICO and business fraud cases, as well as class action defense in all of the above. Mr. Brusca is an accomplished litigator, with vast experience in the areas of contracts, fraud, class action and employment discrimination cases, in both state and federal courts. He has tried cases in states across the country, including Maryland, Oklahoma, Texas, and Washington, DC. In addition, he has represented manufacturing companies in trademark infringement, counterfeit goods and "gray market" merchandise cases for fragrance, health and beauty aid, and food companies. In addition to companies and individuals, Mr. Brusca has represented the government of the Hellenic Republic of Greece and certain cabinet officials. He has also acted as counsel for the government of Puerto Rico in cases challenging the constitutionality of certain regulatory programs.
Mr. Brusca has served as a Committee Member (and former Chairman) of the DC Area Father's Day Council, which raises money for the American Diabetes Association, and fundraiser of the Food and Friend Organization, located in Washington, DC.
