Rosemarie Annunziata

Judge Annunziata is a 1978 graduate of the Washington College of Law. As a student she was active in the clinical program.

She is a former civil litigator and Virginia state court judge. She is highly regarded for her experience in commercial, professional malpractice, products liability and employment disputes, civil liberties issues, appellate procedure and appellate argument. Currently, she also serves on the neutrals panel for JAMS and the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution; both are national companies providing arbitration and mediation services to resolve a variety of legal disputes.

In 1997 Judge Annunziata was awarded the Fairfax County Human Rights Commission Human Rights award. She became the first recipient of the Virginia Women's Attorneys Association President's award in 2006. She is a member of organizations including: International Association of Women Judges, Board of Managerial Trustees; American Judges Association; American Judicature Association; and National Association of Women Judges. She is also the chair of the Supreme Court of Virginia Education Initiative Task Force.
