Dr. Marcela Palacio Puerta

Dr. Palacio successfully completed her S.J.D degree at American University Washington College of Law. The title of her dissertation was "Copyright, Technology, and Education for the 21st Century: Colombia's Experience with the United States Free Trade Agreement's Copyright Provisions Pertaining to Internet Service Providers and Technological Measures." Her fields of study and professional expertise include: copyright law and international intellectual property law. Prior to joining the Washington College of Law S.J.D program, Dr. Palacio worked as a researcher in Sergio Arboleda University. Dr. Palacio is fluent in Spanish and English.
