Dr. Ina Farka

Dr. Ina Farka successfully earned her S.J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in the Summer of 2009. Her dissertation was entitled “Enhancing the Prosecution of Trafficking in Persons from a Country of Origin Perspective - The Case of Albania.” Recently, Dr. Farka started a non-profit called CPR Scholars which is committed to promoting American ideas, innovations, and practices in emergency medical care and healthcare education. Dr. Farka’s fields of study and professional expertise include: Public International Law, Trafficking in Persons, and Extraterritorial Jurisdiction, and her research interests lie in Albanian Criminal Law and Children's Rights. Her academic and professional affiliations include: the U.S. Department of Labor, International Labor Affairs Bureau, Office of Child labor, and Forced Labor and Human Trafficking. Dr. Farka is fluent in Albanian, Italian, and English.
