Dr. Byungsik Jung

Dr. Byungsik Jung successfully earned his S.J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in the summer of 2009. His dissertation was entitled “Jurisprudence for Prudential Measures in International Trade in Financial Services.” He has been professionally affiliated with the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Korea since 1994. Most of his career lies in international affairs including international trade, finance and tax. He was a negotiator for WTO, Free Trade Agreements and international tax treaties. He has been serving as the co-chair of International Finance Architecture Working Group under G20 since November 2019.
