As part of our commitment to your continued professional development, we are pleased to offer WCL alumni the opportunity to audit elligible classes, space permitting (Note: the ability to audit a course is dependent on space availability and professor approval. Because of this, you may not recieve confirmation regarding your ability to audit a course until after the add/drop deadline).
There is no course auditing in the summer. Cost is $500.00 per course.

WCL Alumni are permitted to audit certain upper level elective courses with faculty approval. Below are courses not eligible for audit:\
- Required/Doctrinal first year classes
- Classes that are full on the last day of registration
- Clinic Seminars & Fieldwork
- All Trial Advocacy Courses
- International Investment Disputes
- Advanced International Law: Law & Peace Negotiations
- Advanced Legal Methods
- Advanced Legal Analysis
- Certain small seminars that require a large amount of writing and/or group participation.
- Online courses offered through 2U or other 3rd party
Steps to Audit:
- Please reach out to Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, Grace Engelhart for the this list of Spring 2026 Classes for Alumnit Auditing, and select up to three of your top choices
- Complete the Alumni Audit Application. The application deadline for Spring 2026 is January 10th.
- Once your application is recieved, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, Grace Engelhart, will reach out to you regarding course availability for your chosen classes
- Submit Payment for each course you are able audit
