| Description: | In Miller v. Alabama, the Supreme Court held that the Eighth Amendment prohibits mandatory sentencing schemes that require life without parole for juvenile homicide offenders. Panelists will explore questions such as whether the Court will strike down JLWOP completely, racial and class disparities in juvenile sentencing, and larger sentencing trends. |
