The coming months will mark a crucial stage in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, which creates significant opportunities and obligations for federal regulators, state governments, private health plans, health care providers, and many other stakeholders. In light of the many legal issues raised by ACA implementation, the Health Law & Justice Program and the Program on Law and Government at American University Washington College of Law will be hosting a public event to discuss the current state of implementation and to explore issues on the horizon. The event will include three in-depth panel discussions with state and federal policymakers, prominent health law practitioners, industry representatives, and academics. A lunchtime keynote address will discuss the broader significance of federal health reform at this historic moment. |
