Travel

Participants must make their own arrangements for travel between Turkey and their home countries. The program provides information on travel agents in Washington, D.C., who offer low-cost group flights for program participants. These agents also have information about activities within Turkey and about travel to other nearby countries. Travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of each participant. The program does not incur any liability for those arrangements.

Housing

While in Turkey, participants are housed in modern, furnished residential housing on the main University campus. Double bedrooms each have a private bath. Each room is equipped with Internet access. Housing costs are included in the tuition fee.

Visas

A passport and visa are required. For further information, contact the Consular Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, 2525 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20008 (202-612-6740/41) or your nearest Consulate: CA (323-937-0118), IL (312-263-0644), NY (212-949-0160), or TX (713-622-5849).
