The Washington College of Law and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) have recently established an Exchange Program in which WCL students The Chinese University of Hong Kongcan study for a semester at CUHK and earn credit toward their J.D. degrees. The program offers an opportunity for students to study in an exciting part of the world and at a time of significant legal, social and political change.

The School of Law was established in 2005. It is the newest addition to the diverse and cherished academic and cultural traditions of CUHK. The School places great emphasis on the importance of the general liberal education that is offered by the four colleges that form the heart of educational experience at CUHK. Reflecting Hong Kong's Chinese heritage and its common law inheritance, the School educates lawyers who appreciate how the common law and Chinese culture fit into the modern world.
