With over 37,000 students and more than 7,000 employees, the University of Copenhagen is the largest institution of research and education in Denmark. Together, the eight faculties offer over 200 programs for study in health sciences, humanities, law, life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, science, social sciences, and theology.
The Faculty of Law is situated in the center of the old city of Copenhagen and has more than 4,000 students. The Faculty offers about 30 law courses taught in English each semester. With the exception of one bachelor course, all courses are at master level and are offered to exchange and guest students as well as Danish master students. More than 300 international students study at the Faculty of Law each year and the Faculty has an extensive welcoming program each semester. In addition to the classical fields of law, the research and study programs are geared towards increasing internationalization and new legal disciplines.

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION
The official language of instruction at the University of Copenhagen is Danish, however many courses are offered in English.
COURSES
Students will receive up to 12 credits towards their law degree. Only the credits and not the grades will transfer per ABA requirements. The acceptance of any credit or grade for any courses taken at the University of Copenhagen, including externships and other clinical offerings, is subject to determination by the WCL, Office of the Registrar.
