Welcome to the Bar Ilan University Faculty of Law. Founded in 1970, the Faculty is today one of Israel's leading law schools. With about 30 full-time professors, some 80 adjunct professors, several distinguished short-term visiting professors from the world's leading law schools, and over 2,000 students in its LL.B., LL.M., M.A. and PhD programs, the Faculty has become a dynamic academic center with international reputation. The Faculty's rich academic programs are supplemented by its many legal clinics and research institutes, and together, its faculty and students have built a warm community and supportive learning environment that attracts excellent students from all over Israel.

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION

The official language of instruction at Bar-Ilan University for the semester program is English, however, students with proficient Hebrew are welcome to take courses in either language.

COURSES

Students will receive up to 12 credits towards their law degree. Only the credits and not the grades will transfer per ABA requirements. The acceptance of any credit or grade for any courses taken at Bar-Ilan University, including externships and other clinical offerings, is subject to determination by the WCL, Office of the Registrar. WCL students will be enrolled in courses specifically geared to exchange students.

HOUSING AND COST OF LIVING

Bar-Ilan does not offer on campus housing. The Bar-Ilan Students Dean's Office will assist students to find off-campus housing.
