Airport Information
There are three major airports in the Washington, DC area : Dulles International Airport, Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport, and Reagan National Airport. American University Washington College of Law is located in Northwest DC at 4801 Massachusetts Ave. NW Washington, DC 20016. AU is located on the redline at the AU/Tenleytown stop. There is a shuttle service that will bring you directly from the metro to the university for free. The law school is less than a mile from the metro. You can find more information about the DC metro system at: wmata.com.
Taxis from the airport to the law school can sometimes be expensive. There are other shuttle services such as Super Shuttle that are less expensive and offer door to door service. The Super Shuttle counters are located near the taxi area. You can also take the Washington Flier.
Phone Information
There are several stores in the AU/Tenleytown area where you can purchase "pay as you go" phones. They are inexpensive and are great for short term use in the US. You can also view our other listings of cell phone providers.
