Marcela Palacio, an S.J.D candidate at American University Washington College of Law, is completing her dissertation titled “Colombia: A Dichotomy Between International Compliance And Effective Protection”. Her fields of study and professional expertise include: copyright law and international intellectual property law. Prior to joing the Washington College of Law S.J.D program, Ms. Palacio worked as a researcher in Sergio Arboleda University. Ms. Palacio is fluent in Spanish and English.
