Current S.J.D. Candidates
Sana Onayeva, an S.J.D. candidate at American University Washington College of Law, is completing her dissertation titled “Globalization or Sovereignty, Cooperation or Conflict: Adoption of the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency in Kazakhstan.” Her fields of research include: Cross Border Bankruptcy Law, Project Finance, and International Law. Ms. Onayeva is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, French, and English.
