JUNG WON (SOPHIA) HUR, Korea
S.J.D. Candidate

Jungwon Hur, an S.J.D. candidate at American University Washington College of Law, is completing her dissertation titled “Reforming the Regulatory Regime for Credit Rating Agencies in Korea: Analysis and Proposal based on Recent U.S. Experience.” Ms. Hur’s fields of research include: United States and Korean Securities Law, United States and Korean Corporate Law, and Economic Law. Her research interests lie in constitutional law, legal history, and politics. Ms. Hur is fluent in Korean and English, and she possesses reading knowledge of French and Japanese.
