DR. ALLEN H. LOUGHRY II
S.J.D. Program Graduate

Dr. Allen Loughry successfully earned his S.J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in August 2003. His dissertation was titled "Don't Buy Another Vote, I Won’t Pay for a Landslide,” which he later turned into a 658-page book. His professional experience includes: serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the West Virginia Supreme Court; Senior Assistant Attorney General at the West Virginia Attorney General's Office; Externing as Counsel to the Supreme Court of Ohio; Special Assistant/Deputy Press Secretary for Congressman Harley O. Staggers, Jr.; and serving as a Direct Aide to West Virginia Governor Gaston Caperton.
