The Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) is the most advanced law degree at American University Washington College of Law and is designed for highly qualified lawyers seeking to pursue scholarly research and writing in the law who are prepared to make original contributions to the legal literature. During this lunchtime presentation, the first-year SJD Candidates will present their preliminary research findings on their dissertation topics focusing on international environmental law, privacy law, intellectual propertylaw, women's rights in Saudi Arabia, and the law of war.
