This event is co-organized by Office of Diversity Services and Hubert H. Humphrey Program of Washington College of Law American University, as a part of Martin Luther King, Jr. Week. The purpose is to celebrate the Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday while talking about the universal character of the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Humphrey Fellows listed in this program as well as the others that are at WCL this year argue that they are continuing the legacy of Dr. King . Martin Luther King’s ideas are universal and today guide the work and life of many around the world, including our Humphrey Fellows. This panel explores what Dr. King’s legacy has meant to four of our Humphrey Fellows.
