The Annual Certificate Ceremony celebrates the Humphrey Fellows' accomplishments during their program. Speakers include representatives from the U.S. Department of State, and the Institute of International Education, Humphrey Fellows and Humphrey coordinators. The Humphrey Fellowships were granted competitively to mid career professional candidates from developing countries that showed commitment to both public and private sector. The Fellows came to the US for a year of study and related professional development and experience. This year WCL is hosting twelve fellows from eleven countries: Bhutan, Brazil, Burkina Faso, China, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, Turkey and Uruguay
