American University Washington College of Law will host the Third Annual Capital Area Legal Writing Conference on March 1-2, 2013. The event will include presentations on a broad range of topics, including theories of legal writing pedagogy, teaching and evaluative techniques, developments in legal research and writing scholarship, the use of technology in the classroom, the interrelationship between legal writing and other substantive areas of law, and the future of our profession given changes in the legal academy and the 21st Century workplace.

The default room type that comes up is a King Bedded room; however, if a room with 2 Queen beds is needed, just change the "a" at end of the group code to a "b". The special group rate expires on January 28, 2013. . PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE STILL A FEW ROOMS AVAILABLE AT THE ORIGINAL RATE BUT SPACE IS LIMITED

Please also note the group rate does not include breakfast or parking. Parking is $15 each night for overnight guests
