This program is a follow-up to CGS’s highly successful 2009 “Transparency in the Obama Admin­istration” conference and marks the continuation of a series of annual such “assessment” programs during the following three years. These pro­grams not only feature both the highlights and the lowlights of gov­ern­­ment transpar­en­­cy efforts dur­ing each preceding year, with high-level Obama Administration officials participating as speakers, they also serve to spur timely anticipatory improve­ments within the executive branch in each year to come.
