Capitol City Challenge Mock Trial Competition

The Competition will provide participants the unique opportunity to compete in front of some of the most accomplished attorneys and judges from the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. The Competition also emphasizes the creative use of technology in the courtroom. The 2010 problem is the liability stage of a civil lawsuit. All teams will compete in two rounds on Saturday, with semi-final and final rounds on Sunday. A "Best Advocate" award will be given to the best plaintiff and defense advocates on each day of the Competition. The winning team will receive a trophy and the name of their school will be permanently engraved on a larger version of the trophy to remain on display at WCL.
