The First Annual African Justice Initiative Symposium on Interdisciplinary Legal Perspectives to Improving Health in Sub-Saharan Africa

Wednesday, March 3, 2010
09:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Room 603
*CLE*

The African Justice Initiative's (AJI) first annual symposium will focus on health issues in Sub-Saharan Africa, ranging from HIV to food security, and how different areas of law affect these issues. Dedicated to creating awareness of legal and social issues in Africa, AJI hopes that this symposium will provide an opportunity for the community to better understand how tapping into diverse aspects of the law can help us develop creative solutions to health problems in this region of the world. Speakers from various backgrounds will address these challenges through lively discussion of international and domestic African policies.

Presented by the African Justice Initiative
