Transparency in the Obama Administration - A First-Year Assessment

Wednesday, January 20, 2010
09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
*CLE*

This program is a follow-up to the Collaboration on Government Secrecy's highly successful January 2009 "Information Policy in the New Administration" conference, which gathered leading members of the openness-in-government community to focus on Obama Administration transparency initiatives, and it marks the commencement of a further series of such "assessment" programs planned to be conducted by CGS on January 20 annually. These unique programs not only will feature both the highlights and the lowlights of government transparency during each preceding year, with the participation of key Obama Administration officials, they also should serve to spur timely anticipatory improvements within the executive branch during each year to come. Presented by the Collaboration on Government Secrecy
