The BBC World Service comes to Washington, DC for a community discussion of the issues facing President-elect Barack Obama when he is inaugurated as the 44th president of the United States on January 20, 2009. Broadcasting live before a studio audience at WCL, WAMU's Kojo Nnamdi and the BBC's Owen Bennett-Jones will speak with a panel of guests - and the audience -- about what Americans are expecting from President-elect Obama's administration as he transitions to power. America is changing and the world is watching. The broadcast will air live at 1 pm on WAMU 88.5 and globally on the BBC World Service, with a live webcast made available by WCL at www.wcl.american.edu/go/bbc. In addition, questions for the panelists will be taken from around the world.
