The Role of Law Schools in Promoting and Protecting Human Rights

APRIL 22
9:00 am - 5:00 pm

This important conference will bring together law professors, practitioners and funders from around the United States, Canada and Mexico, to share experiences and exchange models and information about the ways in which law schools impact the human rights field. The conference will provide a forum for discussion about the challenges and successes of law schools engaged in human rights work, and will highlight the diverse ways in which law schools integrate human rights work into their formal and informal initiatives. This conference will also launch an ongoing initiative to bring together each year those working on human rights in the law school context.

Sponsored by the Office of the Dean and the WCL Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law
