The First Annual WCL Asian Pacific Americans and the Law Dinner

In a collaboration of WCL's Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of DC (APABA-DC), this event will highlight the continuing need to empower and encourage the participation of the Asian Pacific American community in the legal realm of society, and recognize the important contributions of WCL's Asian Pacific American alumni to the legal profession. WCL's APALSA will host a reception and dinner which recognizes and honors the WCL alumni and students who are committed to serving the APA community. The keynote speaker, William Tamayo, will discuss the important legacy that Asian Pacific Americans have made in the legal field, and the ongoing commitment and work needed in order to ensure justice and equality for all communities.
