This program will focus on ethical and legal considerations involving end of life issues, including: family members' rights, importance of power of attorney, living wills, euthanasia, forced feeding, medical decision-making, legislative and court interventions, and assisted suicide. The keynote speaker will be Raphael Cohen-Almagor, professor and chair in politics, The University of Hull, England; and fellow at The Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars, Washington, DC.
