Gaoxiang Pan is Asia Environmental Counsel for General Electric Corporate Environmental Programs. In this role, Mr. Pan advises GE’s business operations on regulatory initiatives and environmental compliance obligations in more than a dozen jurisdictions.

Mr. Pan will give an overview of Chinese environmental law and policy and describe the challenges that face American industrial companies that produce products in China. He will also talk about the changes to his practice over the last several years, and about the opportunities available to young lawyers in the region.
