American University Washington College of Law and the Inter-American Commission and Court on Human Rights present a one day conference at the Washington College of Law. Panels include “Perspectives, Approaches and Experiences in Combating Impunity”, “The Scope of Reparations: Challenges in Defining their Scope and Guaranteeing their Enforcement” and the “Institutional Challenges facing the Inter-American and African Systems for the Protection of Human Rights”. The conference will include transport to the Organization of American States for a Dinner and Keynote Address by Juan E. Méndez, President, International Center for Transitional Justice.
