International Right-to-Know Day
September 28, 2007
10:00am - 12:00pm
In a development that barely could have been envisioned by the authors of the Freedom
of Information Act four decades ago, and with a force that has been accelerating around
the globe, people in a growing number of nations now celebrate
"International Right-to-Know Day" on September 28 of each year to recognize
and promote the worldwide proliferation of government openness.
This will be the first-ever event held in the U.S. to commemorate
this day since it was established in 2002
