International Scholars have made valuable contributions to the law school through their many presentations; some were during an afternoon coffee hour while others were a lunch time series of talks. We encourage international scholars to collaborate with their colleagues and WCL faculty to plan a presentation during their time at the law school.

  • Procedure before the ICJ: What is the exact date of the closure of the written phase of proceedings?: Visiting Scholar Juan J. Quintana, a Counselor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, published an article in Volume 7 of The Law and Practice of International Courts and Tribunals.

  • Prosecuting Sexual and Gender-based Crimes Before International/ized Criminal Courts: Visiting Scholar Chiseche Salome Mibenge, Researcher, Netherlands Institute for Human Rights Research at Utrecht University School of Law
  • Challenges Facing China: Professor Wang Rong from the China University of Political Science & Law discussed the topic of Water Right Practice in China.

  • Teaching Gender and Human Rights in the NWFP (Pakistan): Professor Anoosh Khan from the University of Peshawar addressed the topic of teaching gender and the law in Pakistan’s Northwest Frontier Province

  • “Intellectual Tea with the International Visiting Scholars” :
